Compound walls a must for all houses

Construction of compound walls is a must for any house as it protects the inhabitants from the negative effects of Vastu. The following are the points to be kept in mind while constructing the same.
In the case of a house facing east, apart from providing a gate in front of the main door, another gate has to be provided in the eastern compound wall at the mid point of the vacant area, in the northern part of the house. The second gate is very essential since the first gate would be treated as an entrance in an exiguous position in the second gate’s absence. The second gate is in an exalted position.
In the case of a house facing south, apart from providing a gate in front of the main entrance, another gate has to be provided, in the southern compound wall at the mid point of the vacant area in the eastern part of the house.
This second gate is in an exalted position and in its absence the first gate will be treated as exiguous.
In the case of a house facing west, apart from providing a gate in the front of the main entrance, another gate must be provided in the western northwest in the western compound wall at the midpoint of the vacant space available on the northern part of the house. This second gate is an exalted position and in its absence the first gate will be treated as exiguous.
In the case of a house facing north, apart from a gate in front of the main entrance of the house, another gate must be provided in the northern compound wall at the mid point of the vacant space available on the eastern part of the house. This second gate is in an exalted position and in its absence the first gate will be treated as exiguous.
For houses facing northeast, when the gate is in the centre it is in an exalted position and there is no need to provide for a second gate. Houses facing south or west can have a gate in front of the main entrance and these will also be exiguous. The gates must always be in use and never be locked.
Compound walls for houses facing west or south can be higher than the main entrance door of the house. Those facing the east or north should be provided with a compound wall lower than the main entrance.
